Dr. Jordan Phillips

Veterinarian

Dr. Jordan joined the staff at Phillips Animal Hospital after graduating from Iowa State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine with a DVM degree in 2012. He also has a BSS in Chemistry from Huntington University. His interests include radiology, internal medicine and soft tissue surgery.

In his free time he enjoys playing soccer, disc golf, gardening and other outdoor activities. Dr. Jordan lives in Mansfield with his wife, son, daughter, a 16-year-old pug named Ralph Nader, and two cats (Palomita and Backhoe).

Dr. Andrew Scherrer

Veterinarian

Dr. Andrew graduated Magna Cum Laude from The Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in Zoology and a minor in British Literature. Dr. Andrew attended The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine following his undergraduate work, and graduated in 2016. His main interests include cytology, oncology and veterinary nutrition. Dr. Andrew also has a passion for exotic animal medicine.

When he's not in the clinic, Dr. Andrew also enjoys boating, hiking, writing, reading, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Alyssa Paulo

Dr. Alyssa Paulo

Veterinarian

Dr. Alyssa graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a Pre-Veterinary Concentration with a minor in Chemistry.  She graduated from Lincoln Memorial University in May of 2021 with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. She also is Fear Free Certified.

She enjoys spending time with her fiancé Anthony, her 4-year-old Australian Shepherd Brody who she got her first year of vet school, friends, family, and pets and being outside. She loves getting to know all of the clients and helping them provide the best care for their fur babies!

Dr. Steven Phillips

Founder

Dr. Steven Phillips opened Phillips Animal Hospital, originally called South Main Animal Hospital, in 1973. He received his DVM degree from Ohio State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Phillips lives in Mansfield with his wife, his dog Miles, and two cats (Fred and Woody).
